Ansems Family Sweeps Dill Family Farm Pumpkin Weigh-Off With Record Win

The annual pumpkin weigh-off at the historic Dill Family Farm in Windsor wrapped up with a clean sweep by the Ansems family. Competitors from across the region brought their heaviest fall produce to the farm, but the Ansems entries dominated the scales, taking top honours in every competitive category.

In addition to securing first place across the board, the family established a new record in the field pumpkin division. The weigh-off remains a cornerstone of the Annapolis Valley harvest calendar, carrying forward the giant pumpkin growing legacy founded by the late Howard Dill. Local growers noted that challenging late-summer weather tested their patches, making this year’s record-breaking weights particularly impressive.
