Search suspended for six people aboard missing air ambulance
The U.S. Coast Guard has suspended its search for six people aboard an air ambulance that disappeared during a flight from Bermuda to Boston.
Four Canadians and two people from Bermuda were aboard the aircraft, which lost contact early Saturday near Nantucket, Massachusetts. Search crews later located debris offshore.
The Coast Guard announced the suspension Sunday. The aircraft’s operator, Ontario-based Latitude Air Ambulance, has said those aboard are presumed dead.
