Centenarian Painter Anita Tanos Opens Solo Exhibition In Kentville

Tides Contemporary Art Gallery in Kentville has unveiled a new solo exhibition highlighting the work of 100-year-old artist Anita Tanos. The show features a collection of colourful, expressive paintings created over recent years.

Gallery curators described Tanos’s style as playful, fresh, and visually bold, defying standard expectations for artists working into their second century. The exhibition will run through mid-October, with the gallery hosting weekend viewing sessions open to the public on Webster Street.
