Atlantic Canada’s Next Big Research Idea Could Be Chosen in Halifax Tonight
HALIFAX — Fourteen researchers will have just three minutes each to convince a panel of judges that their idea could help change the world tonight in Halifax.
Falling Walls Lab Atlantic Canada takes place from 6 to 8 p.m. at Paul O’Regan Hall inside Halifax Central Library.
Fourteen students and early-career researchers were selected from applicants across Atlantic Canada to pitch breakthrough ideas covering a range of disciplines.
The winner will represent Atlantic Canada at the Falling Walls Lab Global Finale in Berlin this November, joining approximately 100 finalists from around the world.
The Halifax event is presented by Research Nova Scotia with support from the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency.
Admission is free.
