WestJet plans to suspend two Halifax routes to Europe
Travellers flying from Halifax Stanfield will have fewer European routes to choose from next summer.
Airport spokesperson Leah Batstone says WestJet plans to suspend its Halifax flights to Copenhagen and Madrid for summer 2027. Both destinations were added earlier this year.
The changes come as Icelandair prepares to end its Halifax service later this month. The airport says nonstop service to 12 international destinations will remain available.
