A telephone threat prompted a lockdown and police response at Halifax West High School on Thursday.
Police were called around 12:25 p.m. after a man claimed he was on school property with a weapon. The school is on Thomas Raddall Drive.
The lockdown ended at 3:45 p.m. Police reported finding no evidence supporting the threat.
The incident was separate from the recent hold-and-secure involving two schools in Lower Sackville.
